Mya  Chowdhury

VCD: Self efficacy and Resilience

Mya has worked tirelessly this year to produce some really exceptional work, that pushed from the boundaries of her comfort zone. Her resilience is shown in her ability to receive feedback in a mature manner and edit, redesign work that caters to the brief and most importantly to the audience. Skills learnt are shared with her peers, the effort to contribute to group discussion and give feedback is exceptional, Mya you have been a pleasure to teach. Best of luck to you in your future steps and progression on to BA Illustration.

Sophie Ward

FP: Tenacity & strength of purpose

Throughout the foundation course Sophie has grown in strength of character and skill set. Her inquisitive nature has seen her use initiative and tenacity to learn new skills blending the worlds of storytelling, image making and animation together.

Taking a raw and personal subject matter of her Jewish family history during World War 2, she used her strength of purpose to communicate the intricate details of their journey through an emotive outcome open to all age groups. Sophie’s own ambition has played a pivotal role in group work and class dynamic, she always brought insightful ideas and creative concepts to each project or group discussion and enjoyed organising creative teams to work on self-directed green screen projects. Dedicated to exploring new ways of work, Sophie will continue to explore her passion for animation in a fashion communicate degree after a year out in Paris. Well done, Sophie!

Beulah Kuku

Self efficacy and resilience

Beulah has been a star of the Pathway throughout the course. Not only has she had to work through a constant struggle with her online connection, she has remained positive in any adversity and has succeeded in acquiring a place at one of the most reputable architecture institutions.

She has proven to be able to balance her (in some cases self-initiated) in depth investigation to the subject with providing the institution with an ambassador of the highest standard. She has been important in the ‘different’ type of community that has developed in the group and constantly is there to help and support her peers.
