Anvam

Anvam is a 21-year-old, graduate, Product Designer. He spent the first six years of his life in London before moving to India. He has a keen interest in travel, sports, music, and technology. Anvam has been to over 50 countries, finished his first passport when he was just two, and has been to the last four FIFA World Cups.

He is creative and dependable with a strong work ethic and an artistic eye, but also brings a fun-loving and enthusiastic attitude to his work. He possesses experience in leadership, innovation, and communication which he has developed, over time, by working on collaborative projects for companies such as Mozilla and Fixperts, and he would look forward to proving and demonstrating his creative talents in the design industry.

Anvam thrives in environments where innovation and experimentation are encouraged and he loves to explore new concepts. Past examples have involved bringing new inspiration and thought-provoking ideas through projects which involved designing a service or physical object to assist people during the lockdown, re-designing a toy to make it more eco-friendly, and designing a clothes hangar for someone who had recently suffered from a stroke. His diverse background and years at University have served him well in cultivating numerous useful skills from user research to quick high-quality prototypes. He performs best in a work culture that promotes high-energy teamwork balanced with positivity and collaboration.

Prescient
PrescientPrescient /ˈprɛsɪənt/ having or showing knowledge of events before they take place This product is designed for those above the age of 75 who suffer from Urinary Incontinence. The people who suffer from this issue often feel uncomfortable talking about it which results in them feeling helpless and isolated. The aim of this product is to help the users and their families, or carers, manage the difficulties that come with the problem in a simpler way. It is designed to help prevent the issue from occurring rather than cure it. This is important as the availability of medicines and drugs is limited. This project was also selected as one of the Top 8 brainwaves for the Silver Linings Competition. It was also the winner of the 'Brainwave of Brainwaves' audience vote.
Adidas Parley
Adidas ParleyAdidas Parley does a lot of work behind the scenes that the people who buy the products often don't get to see. A lot of them are unaware of the new, innovative and ground-breaking process of turning ocean plastic into polyester yarn. The design was made in order to show the users the hard work that Adidas Parley put in into making these products and the good it does for our planet. 1 shoe uses 11 plastic bottles which means A pair of shoes uses 22 plastic bottles found in our oceans.
Viridi Foods
Viridi FoodsDehydration allows food preservation for indefinite amounts of time. Low heat and continuous airflow extract the moisture, thereby inhibiting the growth of microorganisms, whilst importantly allowing the food to retain all its nutritional value. Dehydrated food has about 1/15 the bulk of the original or reconstituted product. Reducing the storage of and expense of the food. The app works in tandem with a rehydrator and the user can operate it remotely. The user can view the progress of their meals when rehydrating, check storage and monitor their micro garden. The app is also used to purchase meals. The user initially completes a quick survey to understand their needs and dietary requirements. User can then select from a range of meals or create their own.
PRNT was designed to tackle the stagnant designs in the printer industry as well as reduce the current wastage of printer ink cartridges. In the UK alone over 55 million printer cartridges are thrown away which has a massive impact on the environment.

PRNT is primarily designed for children between the age of 9 and 14.  The PRNT device along with the PRNT Pad and app allows the children to explore a wide range of possibilities and exciting designs.

Via the app users can easily upload new patterns or can even decide to use the in-built game feature which will allow them to print simple boards for games such as battleship or ludo.
