Britney Martins

Britney is a diverse designer who enjoys dibbling and dabbing into different sectors of Product Design. She is a reliable worker who will get the job done while showing her flexibility in helping out in these sectors whenever need be. She has found a great interest in digital design including, UI/UX, looking at the way people interact with app interfaces, and how she could make these interactions efficient. Britney's adventurous trait sees her exploring the world around her allowing her to be socially aware and therefore understand the different types of issues people face. Coming across different types of people, inspires her to, in the future, achieve her goal of making the design industry a more diverse and inclusive place, one where all talents from all backgrounds are showcased creating inclusive products that can be appreciated by the many.

ClassDojo: Homeschool Edition - The Process
ClassDojo: Homeschool Edition - The ProcessThis shows the prototyping process of the revamp of an existing school app. The point of this project was to redo the interface of the Classdojo app, an app used by primary school children to access homework, to serve the purpose of homeschooling and make the app easy for school children to use without the aid of parents who may be busy working from home. This picture shows basic wire-frames to help visualise how the app is used as well as what Britney would like incorporated in it.

ClassDojo: Homeschool edition - Features
ClassDojo: Homeschool edition - FeaturesThis image shows the different features I included in the revamp, this included making it personable to the child making it easier for teachers and students to identify their students. Britney made it educational and helpful including revision tips in the scenario of the child being stuck on a piece of homework all the material they need will be there. She also made it fun by having games that they could play while keeping education at the forefront.
