Charles Whiteley

Charles is a mature, particular filmmaker specialising in directing. Having graduated last year from Ravensbourne University he is currently in the industry focusing on runner/production assistant roles as well as directing and writing his own projects, very much open to collaborating with others and working on new ideas.

Having recently created a film festival for the next generation of filmmakers, Charles wants to help create a pathway for careers in the industry. Currently working on his new short film 'My Father's Son' a film about a traditional gamekeepers son exploring his sexuality in the harsh isolated countryside! He's shooting the film next month in Lincolnshire with a skeleton crew. While he usually makes horrors, this should be Charles' most sentimental piece to date.

In One's Right Mind Here is the Final Major Project of last year. Having worked with over a team of 50 people on one short film. The film is about a society which takes pills to stay happy.
