Charles Whiteley

Charles is a mature, particular filmmaker specialising in directing. Having graduated last year from Ravensbourne University he is currently in the industry focusing on runner/production assistant roles as well as directing and writing his own projects, very much open to collaborating with others and working on new ideas.

Having recently created a film festival for the next generation of filmmakers, Charles wants to help create a pathway for careers in the industry. Currently working on his new short film 'My Father's Son' a film about a traditional gamekeepers son exploring his sexuality in the harsh isolated countryside! He's shooting the film next month in Lincolnshire with a skeleton crew. While he usually makes horrors, this should be Charles' most sentimental piece to date.

In One's Right Mind – Here is the Final Major Project of last year. Having worked with over a team of 50 people on one short film. The film is about a society which takes pills to stay happy.

Comprehension Ballet Documentary – A documentary Charles had the opportunity to film in Bulgaria. Originally a commissioned short for 'Trend Him' a fashion company, it has now gone on to be entered into film Festivals

Shake My Fever Music Video – Charles worked on this video with the 'SAHARAS', Having shot this in 2019, It was a great experience in learning the tropes and techniques for music videos.
