Ben Ellis Nicholson and James Lye are an editor director duo, with a keen focus on practical effects and visual storytelling. Quarantined mid-way through their second year, the pair scaled down their live-action horror concept, to a smaller project that could be filmed without leaving the house: Puppets were used instead of actors, due to COVID conditions.
Isolating with Harry Wheelwright, their cinematographer, and the rest of the crew working remotely, this short is a testament to film student problem solving and low budget 80s horror.
