'Baggage' - This garment was inspired by the global pandemic and the lockdown. As a student studying a foundation degree in the midst of a pandemic, I wanted to express visually the different feelings and emotions and struggles of a university student during this time. The garment is made up of excessive pockets and different sized compartments that represent the baggage of lockdown, including the conflicting responsibilities as a student with limited access to resources and physical teaching and the toll on student's mental health throughout the pandemic. The jacket is made out of a black denim fabric with a colourful lining on the inside of the jacket and on the collar which zips up and doubles as a face-covering. These pockets are all detachable as a way of reinforcing positivity and optimism post-lockdown.

Error project - During our fashion communication workshop we styled a photoshoot based on the theme of 'error'. I decided to look at knitwear and errors in knitting such as unravelling and laddering by creating unfinished knitted pieces and samples that had 'gone wrong' and attached them to a blazer.
Breakdown and Remaster - draping experimentation for a one week project called breakdown and remaster.
