Lukasz Sobolewski – Lessless
Lukasz Sobolewski known as Lessless is a freelance music composer and sound designer focused on building immersive sonic landscapes.
He is into all forms of audio production from composition and sound editing to abstract sound creation. He also produces, writes, and mixes music for films and for listening.
His most recent film composition is the Carpe Noctem dir. by David Bartkiewicz which won in the category of The Best Original Score 2020 at Bucharest Film Fest.
His most recent release is a collaboration album ‘African Tapes’ - co-composed with Oskar Zieliński - is a tribute album to African music based on tapes he brought from the Gambia during a bus trip. The profits from it go to the Mechanical Skill Acquisition Centre – a non-profit school in the Gambia.
As a music producer known as Lessless he debuted on Radio Kampus with a bootleg of ‘Matrioszka’ song by Julia Marcell. Later, he was featured on one of the most interesting music projects – Albo Inaczej – a tribute to the Polish classical hip-hop songs re-edited by the artists from the '70s and then remixed. After numerous collaborations with Polish rappers, in 2017 he released a ‘Simple Songs’ EP with collaboration with Ania Iwanek, which gained good press and place in Polish radio stations.
As a sound designer he worked for Warner Bros, Coca-Cola, KFC, Nestle, Huawei, XIaomi, Obi, Citibank, Mastercard, H&M and many others.
