Marissa Noel

Marissa is a contemporary, resourceful practitioner who likes to encompass the traditional textile disciplines in new and various ways. Specialising in fashion and textiles, Marissa is keen to experiment with different mediums, fabrics and techniques towards creating a final outcome that embodies her creative vision. Over the course of her final major project, Marissa has adopted a holistic approach which in turn has fed her creative thinking and understanding of her concept; reshaping identities and has pushed her to explore what our future identities could possibly mean and look like; especially as we have to come to terms with a new normal due to the pandemic.

This Foundation course has developed and pushed Marissa’s creative abilities to new heights and visions, which she will carry through in the next stages of her career, to pursue her ambition to become a textile designer.
