Matias is an Ecuadorian born photographer, who has moved countries and cities throughout his life, giving him a worldly sense of aesthetic, colour and composition. Along with his international influences, he has trained his technical capabilities in highly regarded institutions, including photography, graphic design, cinematography, styling and creative direction.

His trajectory is filled with awards and a diverse folder of clients and collaborations, proving that he has a dynamic range within different areas of multimedia production and photography itself, as well as different aesthetic senses too. Matias has been shortlisted as one of the 10 finalists of the 2020 Sony World Photography Awards, been featured in PhotoVogue, has had international editorial publications in magazines such as Mob Journal and Horizont Magazine. The music video "Camelias" by Miel - video in which Matias was the director of photography - was broadcast on Ciudad de Mexico's Underground and his work is the visual face of many music artists and music related projects.

Matias currently works in fashion, music and advertising with big Ecuadorean brands such as Barreto, Dis Management, Pinto, Loli Lolita, Paseo San Francisco, DK, amongst other clients. He is currently setting up his own studio in Quito, where he currently resides.
