Mmesomachi Julia Ohanwe

Mmesomachi is a designer that specialises in using a mixture of her cultural (Nigerian) and contemporary (British) background to create pieces that highlight areas that she feels aren’t showcased enough in the world of design.
She is especially fascinated with the dichotomy between former colonies and their colonial powers and the implications that 400 years of oppression have on those respective societies.
