Sian Khaled

Sian is a creative, conscientious designer specialising in Fashion Design, having completed her Foundation Diploma in Art & Design (Fashion & Textiles) at Ravensbourne University this year. She has developed strong skills in design development and contextualised practice. Sian has built her body of work with a mixture of photography, drawing, fashion illustrations, CAD designs, knitwear, garment realisation, textiles, and fashion photography. Furthermore, Sian has designed collections whilst contextualising the industry by looking at muses, key competitors, customer profiles, and trend boards/forecasting. Sian has also applied her projects to the current world around her, using her specialism as a tool to address social issues. Achieving this foundation diploma during the pandemic has led to Sian continually refining skills in digital practices including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Sian has collaborated with students specialising in photography, media production, graphic design, and fashion promotion, finding innovative ways to create projects utilising each person's specialist knowledge. Sian seeks to continue creating collaborations so as to learn about other specialisms as well as to share her own knowledge and skills in her own pathway.
Currently with plans to study Fashion Design & Technology: Womenswear at London College of Fashion, Sian strives to continue creating a refined and innovative body of work and to experience work in the industry.
