Yi-Chen Kuo
Yi-Chen Kuo is a Product Designer who constantly strives to design something not only to solve a problem but to fit people's lifestyles.
She especially enjoys creating CMF boards and 3D renderings and she loves to learn new methods for product design. She chose to focus her final year major project on an area in which she has less knowledge to challenge herself. Throughout the project, she experimented with using different prototyping and 3D CAD modeling methods.
Yi Chen is looking to join a design studio in order to gain more industrial skills.
Aether – Aether is a travel pillow designed to solve issues around sleeping on flights with a focus on ergonomics and convenience.

Latsyrc Salt – Latsyrc is a luxury salt company with style at its heart. It was inspired by salt environment and crystal structures.
Roberts Home – This project had a strong focus on blending a radio within a popular environment, the modern home. Yi Chen worked with users to create a piece that would blend in with furniture to keep the radio discreet but in style.
KUO Fragrance – KUO Fragrance was designed to allow customers to discover the perfume scents from looking at the packaging design. There was a focus on using Tinplate sustainably. Awarded 2020 Student Starpack Award.
