Arozo Faizey

Arozo is a creative, out-bursting designer specializing in her practical skills. Before coming to study at Ravensbourne she wanted to pursue a career in Textiles and Fashion. However, she knew that she wanted to explore her options and decided to do a foundation year. Coming across this Foundation year, Arozo was first stuck with choosing between 3D or Fashion promotion, taking a big risk she decided to follow her gut instincts and pursue 3D. During this year she has learned how to adapt and put her 3D practical skills into use as well as learn online software such as Photoshop, allowing her to enhance her skills. Before even starting her final major project, she knew she wanted to dedicate her work towards her father and the sacrifices he as made for his family. Arozo decided to focus her work on Refugees, storytelling from their perspective, and trying to bring out positivity from the negative coverage that has been portrayed about refugees on media. She has created a series of works, wanting to present it as an exhibition piece. Covering a series of digital illustrations, videoed interviews from first and second-generation refugees, an Installation piece as well as an Instagram page dedicated to raising awareness for refugees. In September, she plans to continue her education by going to the University of Arts London, to study Product, Ceramics, and Industrial Design.

Online Exhibition pieceDue to covid measures and not being able to present work in person, Using Art-step Arozo created a virtual exhibition that showcases all my work and informs people about refugees.

Digital drawing promoting awareness about refugees
Digital drawing promoting awareness about refugeesThis digital piece was created with a famous quote used to show that refugees do not willingly put themselves or their children at risk, when the land is unsafe they forcefully have to seek a better future for themselves and themselves, in order to escape the reality they are in whether it be due to persecution or fleeing being of war. Arozo used different languages to communicate this message worldwide.
