William Myers is a professional, modern-day illustrator, comic book artist, character designer and author who has been specializing in the creative art world since late 2014. Since then, Myers had gradually developed his own creative practice, experimenting and exploring through a wide selection of different creative mediums and the ability to expand his illustrative skills.
Myers is very well known to specialize in a series of illustrative images and characters which can be done fr a humorous, quirky and comical perspective. Illustration is an art discipline that Myers has been fascinated about ever since from a young age. Each illustrative image Myers produces would also be done in a non-fictional format which is inspired by illustration greats such as Tony Ross, Quentin Blake, Chris Ware, Art Spiegelman etc. As well as being a profession in illustration, William Myers also has the ability to incorporate written text in his collection of illustration which can be used for narratives and dialogue.
This ability has gradually lead him into preparing for his main goal and ambitions after graduation which is going into the comic book/publishing industry. Myers’ point of view of both the comic book and publishing industry is considered to be a great opportunity for him to work on two skillsets. Firstly to expand on his illustrative skills through the use of new techniques and mediums. And giving him the opportunity of having the job occupation.
