Sara Barros
Sara Barros is a textiles designer. She is passionate about weaving, knitting, embroidery and printmaking. She loves creating textures using these different types of techniques, for example, she explores her textures using different sizes and thickness of yarns when she weaves, making some parts of the woven piece chunky and thick as other are more controlled and smooth which is exactly what she did in her collection as she hand weaved all the different textured pockets. Sara concentrated on the details. She is all about what goes onto the fashion piece as she beliefs that it is what makes a garment or accessory unique and different, the details of the textiles on the fashion piece.
